ARCHIVING POLICY

IBLAM LAW REVIEW

IBLAM Law Review is committed to preserving its published scholarly content and ensuring long-term accessibility, authenticity, and integrity through digital archiving.

Digital Preservation

The journal uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) to manage and provide access to published articles, issues, and publication metadata.

IBLAM Law Review participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP). PKP PN uses LOCKSS-based distributed preservation to safeguard deposited journal content for long-term access.

Preservation coverage depends on successfully archived issues and may be verified through the relevant PKP PN records and the ISSN Portal. Publication on the journal website does not automatically indicate that an issue has completed external preservation.

Electronic Backup

The publisher is responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of journal files, databases, and publication metadata to support operational continuity and recovery.

Operational backups are separate from long-term digital preservation through PKP PN.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, and other scholarly platforms, provided that the original publication is acknowledged and the applicable CC BY-SA 4.0 license is respected.
